What is Gastronorm?

Gastronorm is a worldwide standard for the size of these containers. This GN container is suitable, for example, for ovens, refrigerators, freezers, saladettes, displays, bain-maries, and even chafing dishes. Using GN containers with the same dimensions makes kitchen work much more efficient. Additionally, the GN container complies with European food safety requirements.

Advantages of Polycarbonate

The use of polycarbonate in GN containers offers many benefits. This material is virtually indestructible and, thanks to its transparency, can be viewed from all sides, allowing you to identify the contents of the container. Furthermore, it is an odourless and tasteless material that does not absorb these qualities from food. The biggest advantage, however, lies in easy cleaning. GN containers made of polycarbonate are dishwasher safe, dry quickly, and are temperature resistant from -40 to 100°C. This GN container also features folded edges and rounded corners for additional grip, making it safe and easy to handle.
