What is Gastronorm?

Gastronorm is a worldwide standard for the size of these containers. The big advantage is that they can be used in combination with many commercial kitchen appliances due to their uniform dimensions. This GN container is suitable, for example, for ovens, refrigerators, freezers, saladettes, displays, bain maries, and even chafing dishes. Advantages of Polycarbonate

Using polycarbonate in GN containers offers many advantages. This material is virtually indestructible and, thanks to its transparency, visible from all sides, allowing you to see the contents of the container. It is also an odourless and tasteless material that does not absorb these properties from the food. The biggest advantage, however, lies in easy cleaning. GN containers made from polycarbonate are dishwasher safe, dry quickly, and are temperature resistant from -40 to 100°C. This GN container also has folded edges and rounded corners for additional grip, making it safe and easy to handle.
