What is Gastronorm?

Gastronorm is a worldwide standard for the size of these containers. Advantages of Polycarbonate

The use of polycarbonate in GN containers and lids offers many benefits: the material is nearly indestructible and, thanks to its transparency, visible from all sides so the contents of the container can be easily identified. It is also an odour- and taste-neutral material that does not absorb these properties from the food. However, the greatest advantage lies in the ease of cleaning: GN containers and lids made of polycarbonate are dishwasher safe, dry quickly, and are temperature resistant from -40 to 100°C.
