What is Gastronorm?

Gastronorm is a worldwide standard for the size of these containers. Advantages of Polycarbonate

The use of polycarbonate in GN containers and lids offers many benefits: The material is virtually indestructible and, thanks to its transparency, can be seen through from all sides, allowing the contents of the container to be identified. Additionally, it is an odourless and tasteless material, which does not absorb these properties from the food. The biggest advantage, however, lies in the easy cleaning: GN containers and lids made of polycarbonate are dishwasher safe, dry quickly and are temperature resistant from -40 to 100°C.
