Safety instructions

Safety Instructions

Read carefully before installation and use, and keep for future reference. If you pass this product on to someone else, be sure to include these instructions.

CAUTION – Risk of tipping, pinching, and cutting: Improper installation, overloading, or incorrect handling of the sliding doors can result in injury.

Transport and Setup

  1. The unit is heavy and bulky: Carry it with at least two people, lift with a straight back, and wear safety shoes.

  2. Do not lift by the countertop, doors, or shelf; secure the sliding doors for transport or unhinge them.

  3. Check for transport damage before installation; do not use damaged cabinets.

  4. Wear protective gloves: Sheet metal edges and undersides may be sharp (risk of cuts).

  5. Fully and securely screw in all feet before standing the cabinet upright or placing any weight on it. Do not rest the cabinet on its doors while doing so.

  6. Install only on a level, load-bearing floor. Level the cabinet using the leveling feet; all feet must be in contact with the floor.

  7. Do not unscrew the leveling feet beyond what the thread length safely allows.

  8. When setting up in a row or against a wall, maintain a safe distance from radiators, stoves, and deep fryers; the wooden insert in the top panel is flammable.

Load Capacity and Use

  • Shelf: maximum 115 kg, evenly distributed. Store heavy items on the bottom shelf.

  • Countertop: For standard kitchen tasks only. Do not place heavy appliances on the countertop unless the manufacturer has specified the load capacity.

  • Do not step on, stand on, or sit on the countertop or shelf.

  • Insert the shelf only into the designated supports and check that it is securely in place before loading it.

  • Move sliding doors slowly and do not close them forcefully; do not place your fingers between the door and the cabinet (risk of pinching).

  • Do not place hot pots or baking sheets directly on the countertop; use trivets.

  • Do not cut or chop directly on the countertop; use a cutting board.

  • Do not move the cabinet while it is loaded.

  • Check stability and feet regularly; if any wobbling, warping, or rust is detected on load-bearing parts, remove the load immediately.

Cleaning and Care

  • Clean with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth, then wipe dry.

  • Do not spray with a garden hose or high-pressure washer: Water that seeps in can cause the wood reinforcement in the countertop to swell.

  • Do not use cleaners containing chlorine or hydrochloric acid, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners: AISI 201 is more sensitive to chloride than AISI 304 and may develop surface rust or pitting.

  • Keep the sliding door tracks clean to prevent the doors from jamming.

Disposal

  • Dispose of packaging by material type.

  • Dispose of stainless steel parts as scrap metal; dispose of the wooden insert in the countertop separately at the recycling center.
