SARO FlashCook: high-speed oven with hot air and microwave
The SARO FlashCook combines hot air and microwave in one appliance. Pizza, sandwiches, snacks and pre-prepared dishes come out hot and crisp in a short time. The oven needs no extraction hood and plugs into a standard Schuko socket. That makes it a good fit where space is tight: cafés, snack bars, bars, petrol stations and bakeries with a snack range.
How the FlashCook works
Two magnetrons heat the food from the inside, while a double impingement system blows hot air directly onto the surface. The food is heated through quickly and still gets a brown, crisp crust. The microwave uses inverter technology, so it regulates power continuously instead of switching on and off.
Hot air and microwave can be set separately in 10 percent steps, and the temperature ranges from 93 to 275 °C. A recipe can consist of several cooking stages, for example heating hard first and then only browning.
Operation via touchscreen
The 8-inch touchscreen shows stored recipes with a picture. Up to 1,024 programmes fit into 10 categories, so anyone on the team can start a dish with one tap and get the same result every time. Recipes are transferred from one appliance to the next via the USB port. If you run several sites, you set up the programmes once and then distribute them.
An ECO mode lowers consumption during quiet periods. You set the times and power for two ECO stages yourself in the settings.
Small footprint, no extraction
On the outside the FlashCook measures 40 × 72 × 61 cm (W × D × H). Inside it offers 24 litres, enough for a pizza with a diameter of 30 cm. No extraction hood is needed. It needs a stable, level surface and clearance around it: 25 cm at the back and sides, 50 cm at the top.
It comes ready to plug into an earthed 230 V Schuko socket, with a maximum power consumption of 3 kW. According to the manufacturer, adapters, extension cables and multi-socket strips must not be used.

Everyday care
The housing has rounded corners and is therefore quick to clean. The air filters are easy to reach and can be removed for cleaning, and the cooking chamber lighting helps keep it clean. The appliance must not be cleaned with a water jet or pressure washer.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an extraction hood for the FlashCook?
No. SARO describes the appliance as a compact design without an extraction hood. The minimum clearances to walls and furniture must still be observed.
Can I plug the oven into a normal socket?
Yes, it comes with a Schuko plug for 230 V. Because it draws up to 3 kW, SARO rules out adapters, extension cables and multi-socket strips.
Does a whole pizza fit inside?
Yes, up to 30 cm in diameter. A matching round plate is included.
Can I save my own recipes?
Yes. You create your own programmes with temperature, time, microwave and fan power per cooking stage and assign them to a category. Via USB you copy them to further appliances.
