Catering equipment for kitchen, counter and store
Catering equipment is what makes a professional kitchen work in the first place: refrigeration, cooking, warewashing, preparation, service and ventilation. The difference from domestic appliances is not the looks but the design — built for continuous use, for Gastronorm dimensions and for cleaning with aggressive agents.
We list a good 22,000 items from 30 manufacturers. The groups below lead straight into each range — with the number of items currently available there.
The main product groups
Refrigeration
3.970 itemsRefrigerators and freezers, refrigerated counters, saladettes, display counters, ice makers and cold rooms. The largest group in our range — and the one where the energy class matters most, because these appliances run around the clock.
Cooking equipment
3.054 itemsRanges, combi steamers and convection ovens, fryers, grills, tilting pans and boiling kettles. Here the type of energy matters too: gas is often cheaper to buy, induction cheaper to run.
Stainless steel furniture
2.143 itemsWork tables, sink units, wall shelves, cupboards and understructures. The backbone of every kitchen — and the area where a custom build is most often needed when the catalogue size does not fit.
Warewashing
792 itemsGlasswashers, dishwashers, hood-type machines, sink technology and accessories. What counts here is less the machine than the throughput: racks per hour measured against the rush at peak time.
Ventilation and extraction
1.352 itemsHoods, ventilation ceilings, fans and filter technology. Often planned late, although the official sign-off of a kitchen regularly depends on exactly this.
Food preparation
861 itemsSlicers, cutters, blenders, dough kneaders and vegetable cutters. The area where labour time can be saved most directly.
What matters when buying
A better energy class often costs nothing extra
A look at our own data pays off: among appliances with a stated energy class, the median price in class B is around €1,460, in class C around €1,520 and in class D around €1,630. The more economical class is on average even the cheaper purchase — the figures show no premium for efficiency.
One caveat: with freezers, the top classes barely exist. Among the freezer counters, freezer cabinets and chest freezers in our range, not a single unit currently carries an A class. Comparisons there are best made within freezing technology, not against a refrigerator.
More on energy use in the professional kitchen →Check dimensions before buying, not after
The most common reason for a return is not the appliance but the route to its place: door width, stair landing, lift depth. Measure the delivery route before ordering a unit 700 mm deep — and allow for the space taken by an open door and the clearance a refrigeration unit needs at the back.
If nothing in the catalogue fits, that is not the end of it: stainless steel furniture and refrigerated counters can be built to size, and with standard models a small change is often enough.
