The Unox SPEED.Compact ECO is a high-speed oven only 60 cm deep. It combines microwave and hot air to regenerate baked goods and snacks in a short time. It runs without an extraction hood and without installation effort on a Schuko plug. We offer the SPEED.Compact ECO on request.
Compact build, ready to go
The cooking chamber measures 30 × 30 cm and takes one 300 × 300 mm tray; the door opens 17 cm high. Unox calls the installation "Plug&Play": no exhaust pipe, no hood, no installation manual, and the oven is ready for use straight out of the box. Catalysts in the cooking chamber and chimney reduce fumes, noise and odours. According to Unox, it is one of the quietest models the manufacturer has made and can be placed right next to other appliances.
Operation and programmes
It is operated via a 9.5-inch touch panel. There are 384 Speed programmes and 10 favourites, which start directly from the home screen with the CLICK&COOK function. With SPEEDUNOX you choose from the library what to cook, and the oven sets the parameters itself. Manually, 30 to 280 °C and up to 9 cooking steps are possible.
On top come Unox's automatic functions: ADAPTIVE.Cooking continuously adjusts the cooking parameters so the result stays the same. SMART.Preheating sets the preheating temperature and duration. SPEED.Plus distributes the microwaves evenly in the cooking chamber.
Cooking times according to Unox
Unox states the following times for the SPEED.Compact ECO, among others:
- Ham and cheese croissant, muffin, brownie: 30 seconds
- Bacon and egg roll: 45 seconds
- American pizza, baguette, hot dog, quiche: 60 seconds
- Club sandwich, burrito: 75 seconds
- Potato wedges, falafel: 120 seconds
- Chicken wings: 180 seconds
Energy and connectivity
SMART.Energy detects when there is no food in the oven and switches to standby at a lower temperature. Rock wool insulation keeps the heat inside the appliance. Wi-Fi is built in, and HACCP data and programmes are transferred via Wi-Fi or USB. With Unox's Data Driven Cooking app, the ovens can be monitored and recipes created and shared.
Cleaning
The touch panel guides you through cleaning step by step. A crumb collector is built into the filter below the door. Available accessories include the QUICK.Rinse hand shower for quick rinsing and the SPRAY&Rinse cleaning spray.

Do I need an extraction hood?
No. According to Unox, neither an exhaust pipe nor a hood is needed.
What socket does it need?
A 230 V Schuko socket. The oven draws up to 3.6 kW and 16 A. Unox recommends a 3 × 1.5 mm² cable and refers to local installation regulations.
